Farmers Market Shows Unique Products

Every Wednesday afternoon, the Solvang Farmers Market presents a unique array of products - fresh produce, flowers, and - Arne's famous Aebleskivers.

With an emphasis on uniqueness, the Farmers Market strives to bring products that won't be found in local stores. Produce is freshly picked, and different from varieties that are commonly found in stores: Japanese Sunflowers that look more like the sun, Olive Oil from Santa Ynez Valley olive trees; Cheese from local free-range, grass-fed, and hormone free cattle; and "heirloom" tomatoes unique in color and shapes.
With about 25 booths, the Farmers Market is open year-round on Wednesday afternoons from 4PM to 7PM on First Street, between Mission Drive and Copenhagen. For further information on this and other Farmers Market locations, visit www.sbfarmersmarket.org.
