A new musical based on "The Wind in the Willows", by Kenneth Grahame, receiving the lyrics of Cathleen McIsaac and the music of Chris Bowman will be presented at The Little Theatre, Santa Ynez Valley Union High School. The musical opens September 23 at 7:30pm, and is touted by some as having potential on Broadway.[Drawing by Syd Duncan]

Cathleen McIsaac is an accomplished visual, vocal and theatrical artist. Her academic training includes an honors Bachelors of Art degree from UCLA, a Master of Fine Art degree from Otis Art Institute and two years at Glendale College studying music with an emphasis on piano and voice.

Chris A. Bowman is a conductor, composer, arranger, keyboard player, trumpet player andtenor soloist - equally at home with classical, popular or jazz styles of music. Currently, he is the Conductor/Composer-in-Residence of the Santa Ynez Valley Chorale, Chamber Singers, Youth Chorale and Orchestra.
